Ocean City Boardwalk Glows Under Stunning Pink Sunrise Sky

X user Coastal Pete captured a colorful post-sunrise sky over the Ocean City boardwalk Thursday morning, with pink and red clouds stretching above the Atlantic Ocean.

The wide view shows the wooden boardwalk largely quiet, with street lamps still glowing as shops line one side and gazebos and empty benches sit along the beach. A cyclist rides away down the center of the boards while a few people walk in the distance.

The sunrise came at about 6:54 a.m., shortly before the footage was posted at 7:06 a.m. The morning forecast called for mostly cloudy skies turning partly sunny, with a high in the mid-70s and a light south wind.

The scene was a calm start to October in Ocean City, with no storm conditions, flooding or emergency response visible.
