Takedown requests and contact
Effective: 2 November 2026
NTA licenses news videos from the people who filmed them. We respect copyright and privacy, and we act quickly when someone tells us a video should not be on our site or in our feeds. This policy explains how to contact us and what happens next.
1. Who can use this process
• Copyright owners (or their authorised agents) who believe a video is used without permission.
• People shown in a video, or their parent or guardian, who want it reviewed for privacy, safety or dignity reasons.
• Anyone reporting another legal problem, such as a factual error, a court order or a reporting restriction.
2. How to send a request
Use the request form on this page, or email editorial@nativeteamsagency.com. Include the story link or code (for example NTA13494), who you are, and why the video should be removed or changed. You can also reach us by phone at +1 872 353 8382, but please follow up in writing.
3. What to include
• who you are, and whether you act for someone else (for example as the copyright owner’s agent, or as a parent or guardian);
• which video it is: the NTA story link or code, or the URL where you saw it;
• what right you hold or what concern you have, and why (for example a link to your original post, or why the video affects your privacy or safety);
• your contact details: name, email address and phone number;
• a statement that the information in your request is accurate and given in good faith.
4. What we do
• We confirm receipt and review every request, and reply within 2 business days.
• Requests are not acted on automatically. After review we may remove the video, edit it (for example blur faces or cut parts), restrict it, or keep it online with an explanation of our reasons.
• Where appropriate, we may take the story offline and out of client feeds temporarily while we review.
• If we withdraw a video, we send a withdrawal notice to clients who received it, and they must stop using it under our Licence Terms.
• If a request concerns a filmer’s licence to us, we may share it with the filmer so they can respond. We remove personal details where possible.
5. Privacy and people shown in videos
We consider requests from people shown in a video with particular care, weighing the public interest in the news against the harm to the person. Requests involving minors, victims or graphic material are treated as urgent. Our Privacy Policy explains your data protection rights.
6. False claims and repeat infringement
Please only send a request if you believe in good faith that it is justified. We may disregard requests that are clearly unfounded or abusive, and we stop working with filmers or account holders who repeatedly supply or use infringing material.
7. Copyright agent (DMCA)
For copyright claims under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), our designated agent is:
• Service provider: Native Flow, LLC (trading as Native Teams Agency / NTA)
• Designated agent: Copyright Agent, Native Flow, LLC
• Address: 1603 Capitol Avenue, Suite 310, Cheyenne, WY 82001, USA
• Phone: +1 872 353 8382
• Email: contact@nativeteamsagency.com
• US Copyright Office registration: DMCA-1084125
A DMCA notice must be in writing and include:
• your physical or electronic signature (your typed full name is enough);
• the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
• the video on our site or in our feeds, with enough detail for us to find it (the story link or code);
• your name, postal address, phone number and email address;
• a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
• a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act for them.
When we receive a valid DMCA notice, we remove the video or disable access to it promptly.
Counter-notice: if we remove a video after a DMCA notice, we tell the person who supplied it. If they believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, they can send our agent a counter-notice with their physical or electronic signature; the video that was removed and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that they believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and their name, address and phone number, with a statement that they consent to the jurisdiction of the US federal district court for their address (or, if they are outside the US, any district where NTA may be found) and will accept service from the person who sent the notice. We send the counter-notice to that person. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we restore the video 10 to 14 business days after we receive the counter-notice.
Anyone who knowingly makes a false notice or counter-notice can be liable for damages. In appropriate circumstances we close the accounts of, and stop accepting Submit a story uploads from, filmers, account holders and anyone else who repeatedly infringe copyright.
