Contributor Terms
Version 1.0 · Effective: 2 November 2026
IN SHORT
• You keep ownership of your video. NTA gets a royalty-free, permanent, non-exclusive right to use it and to license it to media clients and partner agencies worldwide.
• You must have filmed it yourself, own it, and have filmed it safely and legally.
• We credit you.
• Never put yourself or anyone else in danger to get a video.
1. About these terms
1.1 These Contributor Terms (the “Terms”) are a contract between Native Flow, LLC, a Wyoming (USA) limited liability company doing business as Native Teams Agency (“NTA”, “we”, “us”), and the person who sends NTA a video (“you”, the “Filmer”).
1.2 They apply when you send a video through the “Submit a story” page on nativeteamsagency.com, or send it to NTA in another way and agree that these Terms apply. You accept them by ticking the box on the form and sending it.
1.3 “Video” means the video you send, any shorter or edited versions, stills taken from it, and the information you give us about it (such as where, when and what happened).
1.4 If NTA agrees different terms with you for a specific video, for example by email, those terms take priority for that video.
2. Who can send videos
2.1 You must be 18 or older. NTA does not accept videos filmed or sent by anyone under 18.
2.2 You must be the person who filmed the video and the owner of its rights. If someone else filmed it, they must send it themselves.
3. Your promises
By sending a video, you promise that:
• you filmed it yourself and you own all rights in it;
• you have not given anyone else exclusive rights in it, and you will not do so in a way that conflicts with these Terms;
• it does not contain anything you do not have the right to use, such as added music, graphics or other people’s footage;
• it shows real events. It is not staged, and it has not been edited to mislead;
• the information you give us about it (where, when and what happened) is true to the best of your knowledge;
• you filmed it lawfully, without trespassing, breaking a court order or reporting restriction, or interfering with police, emergency services or anyone in need of help; and
• you will tell us at once if any of this stops being true, or if someone else claims rights in the video.
4. The licence you give NTA
4.1 You keep ownership and copyright of your video.
4.2 You grant NTA a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual (no end date), irrevocable, sub-licensable and transferable licence to use the video in any media and format, now known or developed later. This includes the right to:
• reproduce, edit, cut, caption, subtitle, translate and adapt it, make derivative works from it, and add NTA’s or a client’s logos, watermarks and graphics;
• publish, broadcast, stream, distribute, display and perform it, in whole or in part, online, on TV, in print, on social media (including social media partner and monetisation programmes) and in video players or channels that show advertising;
• license and sell it to media clients, and supply it to distribution partners (such as other video agencies), who may license it to their own clients, through more than one level;
• use it to promote NTA, for example on our website and social media.
4.3 Non-exclusive means you may also license the same video to others yourself, including other agencies, as long as you do not give anyone exclusive rights that conflict with these Terms.
4.4 The licence starts when you send the video. NTA reviews every submission and is not required to use, publish or sell any video. If we decide not to use your video, we will tell you, we will not use it, and we will delete it within 30 days.
4.5 NTA will not issue copyright claims or takedowns against your own posts of your video.
5. Credit
5.1 We credit you on the NTA story page and in our feeds using the name or social media handle you give us, followed by NTA (for example “@yourname / NTA”). If you prefer not to be named, tell us and we will credit “NTA” only.
5.2 Our clients and partners must show the credit we give them. We cannot control every third party, but we will ask them to correct a missing or wrong credit when you tell us about it.
6. Editing and how your video is used
6.1 NTA and its clients may edit the video for length, format, captions and graphics, and may blur faces, number plates or other details to protect people shown in it.
6.2 We will not edit your video, or let clients edit it, in a way that changes its meaning or misleads viewers. Our Licence Terms forbid this for clients too.
6.3 As far as the law allows, you waive, or agree not to enforce, any moral rights (such as the right to object to edits or to be named) in a way that would stop the uses in these Terms. This does not change our promise to credit you in clause 5.
7. Withdrawing a video
7.1 Because the licence is irrevocable, you cannot cancel it once you have sent the video. You can still ask us to stop offering the video, for example for safety or privacy reasons. We will consider every request in good faith and reply within a reasonable time.
7.2 If we agree, or if NTA decides to remove a video for any other reason, we stop offering it for new licences and send a withdrawal notice to clients and partners, as described in our Licence Terms. Licences already granted, and broadcasts already aired, are not affected.
8. Your safety
8.1 Never put yourself or anyone else in danger to film. Do not get closer to fires, floods, storms, crashes, crowds or violence than is safe. Follow instructions from police, firefighters and other emergency services, and do not get in their way.
8.2 NTA never asks anyone to film in dangerous situations, and we do not accept videos that were obtained by breaking the law or by putting people at risk.
9. People in your video and your personal data
9.1 If your video shows children, victims, injured people or other sensitive situations, please tell us. We may blur, edit or decide not to use it.
9.2 We use your name and contact details to review your video, contact you, credit you and keep proof of the licence. We share your name or handle as your credit. We share your contact details with a client or partner only to check the video, and only with your permission. More details are in our Privacy Policy.
10. Complaints and claims
If someone complains about your video, for example a copyright owner or a person shown in it, we may share the relevant part of the complaint with you, ask you for information, and remove or edit the video under our Takedown Policy. Please help us respond quickly.
11. Responsibility if your promises are not true
If any promise in clause 3 is untrue, you will cover NTA’s reasonable costs and losses from any claim made against NTA, its clients or partners because of it, including reasonable legal costs. This does not apply where NTA or a client edited or used the video in a way these Terms do not allow.
12. Limitation of liability
12.1 NTA is not liable for loss of profit or income, or for indirect or consequential loss.
12.2 These limits do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Ending the arrangement
NTA may stop working with you at any time, for example if a video breaks these Terms. The licence for videos you have already sent continues.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The version you accepted applies to each video you sent while it was current. A new version applies only to videos you send after it is published.
15. Governing law
15.1 These Terms and any dispute about them are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Wyoming have jurisdiction.
15.2 Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under laws of the country where you live that cannot be changed by contract.
16. General
These Terms, and any other terms NTA agrees with you for a specific video under clause 1.4, are the whole agreement about your video. NTA may transfer these Terms to a company that takes over its business. If any part is found invalid, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver. Notices may be sent by email to the address you gave us and to editorial@nativeteamsagency.com. These Terms are written in English, and the English version prevails.
