A Coast Guard helicopter crew rescued five crew members from a fishing vessel that ran aground near False Pass, Alaska.
Footage released by the U.S. Coast Guard shows a grainy view looking down from an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter at the grounded vessel as waves crash around it and a rescue basket is lowered to its deck.
The aircrew from Air Station Kodiak, deployed to Forward Operating Site Cold Bay, carried out the rescue on October 29. The five crew members were flown to Anna Livingston Memorial Clinic in Cold Bay.
