Fireworks Burst Over San Francisco Church on Election Night

San Francisco, United States – Fireworks burst into the night sky behind Saints Peter and Paul Church in San Francisco on election night.

X user Gina Frizzi filmed the colourful explosions over the city's lit-up skyline on Tuesday, November 3, as Americans voted in the midterm elections.

"Election night in SF! Fireworks behind Saints Peter and Paul Church, smoke rolling over the hill, everybody hanging out their windows. Only here. San Francisco doesn't wait for the count," the filmer wrote.
