Crowds Pour Into Austin Streets as Drivers Honk to Celebrate Democrat Wins

Austin, United States – Crowds poured into the streets of Austin, Texas, as drivers honked their horns to celebrate Democratic victories on election night.

X user Zack Briggs filmed the scene on Tuesday, November 3, with cars sounding their horns as they drove past apartment blocks and groups of people walked along the road and pavements, with police lights flashing further down the street.

"Austin going honking after a slew of Democratic victories tonight including James Talarico winning the US Senate race and Gina Hinojosa coming out on top for governor," the filmer wrote.
