Blazing Red and Gold Autumn Colours Ring Calm New England Lake

Trees in vivid shades of red, orange and gold lined the shore of a calm lake in New England as peak autumn colours lit up the region on Friday, October 30.

X user AJ Stuyvenberg filmed the scene from a small boat, panning slowly across the still blue water as the fiery foliage glowed under a clear sky. The bow of the boat and its trolling motor can be seen in the frame.

“I would die for my country New England,” the filmer wrote.
