Water Erupts Like a Geyser Onto Oslo Street After Pipe Burst

Oslo, Norway – A powerful jet of water erupted from the street in Oslo's Grønland neighbourhood after a pipe burst at night.

X user Christopher filmed the scene at about 5:20pm on Wednesday, November 4, with white spray shooting into the air under traffic lights, mist filling the wet road and pedestrians stopping to watch and film.

He later said he believed it was a district heating pipe that had burst.

"Looks like a water pipe burst in Grønland Oslo," he wrote.
