Suicidal Man Climbs Onto Brooklyn Bridge Structure Above Traffic

A shirtless man was seen standing on the upper steel structure of the Brooklyn Bridge above passing traffic in daylight.

The footage was filmed by X user Yasser alkhader, who posted it on September 15, 2026. He wrote that the man had attempted suicide on the Brooklyn Bridge shortly before the footage was recorded.

In a follow-up, alkhader said police rescue were contacted and the man was saved.

The footage shows cars passing underneath as the man remains high above the roadway on the bridge structure.
