Storm Clouds Sweep Over Potato Hill During Fort Chaffee Training

Storm clouds moved across Potato Hill during a time-lapse recorded at the Fort Chaffee Joint Maneuver Training Center on June 1, 2026.

The footage was captured as part of the 39th Infantry Brigade Combat Team’s annual training exercise. It shows shifting weather conditions passing over the training area during the activity.

The brigade, part of the Arkansas Army National Guard, carried out its annual training from May 30, 2026, through June 13, 2026, at Fort Chaffee Joint Maneuver Training Center.

The training is designed to improve readiness, strengthen both individual and collective skills, and prepare soldiers for future state and federal missions.

It also serves to validate combat capabilities, enhance leadership development, and increase overall lethality across the brigade through structured field training.
