Snowplows Battle First Winter Snow on Snoqualmie Pass as Drivers Warned to Slow Down
Snowplows cleared the highway over Snoqualmie Pass in Washington State on Wednesday, October 28, as the first snow of the season hit the Cascade Mountains.
The Washington State Department of Transportation’s Snoqualmie Pass account posted footage of crews plowing the road. “Our crews are out plowing snow as the first hint of winter hits the mountain passes,” it wrote.
Drivers crossing the passes were urged to have good traction tires and slow down.
