Satellite Captures Massive Smoke Plumes Across Four Corners Wildfires

Satellite imagery from GOES-18 shows several large smoke plumes rising from active wildfires across the Four Corners states.

The Aspen Acres fire, which ignited earlier in the day, is among the most significant incidents, producing thick smoke that spreads across the surrounding area.

The fires are part of a wider increase in wildfire activity across the region during late June 2026.
