Police officers and firefighters waded into a rising creek in Oklahoma City to rescue a driver trapped inside an overturned car that was sinking into the water.

Footage released by the Oklahoma City Police Department from an officer’s body camera shows the car lying on its roof in murky water, its wheels in the air, as officers splash toward it. “Is there somebody inside?” one asks, before another replies, “Yeah, I hear him.” Officers shout “Hey, can you hear us?” as they work to reach the driver, who is then pulled out and fitted with a red life jacket.

The rescue happened near 3900 South Santa Fe Avenue, the department said in a post on July 10, describing it as a fast-moving water rescue carried out with the Oklahoma City Fire Department the night before. The driver was rescued.
