Spanish Military Emergency Unit (UME) rescuers, working alongside Peruvian USAR teams and local responders, have successfully extracted a trapped victim from the rubble after hours of intense rescue operations.

The effort involved sustained debris removal and structural stabilization in the affected area following the devastating June 24 earthquakes.

Footage filmed by the UME shows the coordinated operation as rescuers carefully reached the victim and pulled them from the collapsed structure.

After being brought out, the victim was stabilized on site by rescue personnel while teams continued working in difficult conditions.

The operation is part of the ongoing international response to the earthquakes that struck the region on June 24, which caused widespread destruction across Caraballeda and surrounding areas.

Emergency teams continue searching through the rubble as rescue efforts remain ongoing.
