Massive Supercell Storm Towers Over Texas Farmland Between Waco And Fort Worth

Waco–Fort Worth, USA – Video filmed by X user LexibunniWX captures a powerful supercell thunderstorm rising over rural farmland between Waco and Fort Worth, Texas, on the evening of April 28, 2026.

The first short handheld clip shows a vast wall of dark gray storm clouds dominating the sky above a green cornfield, with a long, low light-colored building sitting in the midground. The camera shakes slightly as a person’s finger points toward the threatening cloud base, while a gray car with glowing red taillights passes along a dirt road.

The second clip highlights the storm’s structure, revealing swirling and textured cloud formations with a wide, lowering base stretching across the horizon over the same open farmland. The camera remains steady, holding on the looming system in the distance.

Shared with the caption “Beautiful supercell between Waco and Fort Worth last night,” the footage comes from the same North Texas severe weather outbreak that produced tornadoes and damaging winds across the region the previous evening.
