Israeli Troops Find Weapons and Hezbollah Posters in Child's Bedroom as Strikes Hit South Lebanon
South Lebanon – Israeli troops found weapons and a child's bedroom decorated with Hezbollah symbols inside a civilian home in southern Lebanon, the Israel Defense Forces said.
Footage released by the IDF shows soldiers moving through a dimly lit room with yellow Hezbollah flags and banners on the walls and posters of the group's figures hanging above children's furniture.
A second video shows aerial footage of strikes, with plumes of black smoke rising over buildings and fields, and bright explosions captured on thermal camera.
Forces of the 769th Brigade Combat Team, under the 91st Division, are operating to destroy what the IDF called terrorist infrastructure in the area of the village of al-Khiam, it said.
Troops also found and destroyed a warehouse of explosive drones and found rockets, Kalashnikov rifles, helmets, vests and ammunition, the IDF said.
"The IDF will not allow the Hezbollah terrorist organisation to harm the citizens of the State of Israel and its forces, and will continue to act to remove threats and remain committed to the ceasefire agreement," it said.
