US Military Strike Blows Up Suspected Drug Boat in Eastern Pacific, Killing Five
The US military carried out a deadly strike on a fast boat it said was smuggling drugs in the Eastern Pacific on Tuesday, October 27, killing five people on board.
The strike was carried out by Joint Task Force Western Hemisphere under the direction of US Southern Command, according to footage released by the US military’s DVIDS media service.
The military said the go-fast vessel was operating along established drug-trafficking routes and that confirmed intelligence showed it was actively involved in narco-trafficking. It described the five people killed as “narco-terrorists.”
