On the evening of June 9, 2026, hundreds of protesters marched through Lisburn as part of wider demonstrations across Northern Ireland following a violent knife attack in Belfast.

Video filmed by X user Ironman Belfast captures a large crowd moving along a wet asphalt road lined with trees and commercial buildings, chanting and waving flags as they advance through the town.

Men and women of different ages walk together in a steady procession. Many wear dark jackets, hoodies, and casual clothing, while several carry or wave Union Jack flags and other banners as the march fills the roadway.

The camera follows the group from behind and alongside, showing the scale of the gathering. In the background, retail outlets including Costa Coffee and KFC are visible along the street.

Some participants record the march on their phones, while others continue forward under an overcast sky in an organized and determined formation. The atmosphere appears unified across the crowd.

The original post caption reads: “Lisburn has had ENOUGH!!!!! #PATRIOTS”

The demonstrations come amid wider unrest across Northern Ireland following a stabbing incident in Belfast, where a Sudanese man was charged in connection with an attack that left a victim with serious neck and head injuries.

While some protests in Belfast and other areas turned violent, including reports of vehicle fires, attacks on police, and damage to homes, the Lisburn march shown in the footage remained largely orderly.

Political leaders, including Northern Ireland’s First Minister, called for calm as tensions rose across the region.

The video has circulated widely online, with the filmer confirming ownership and granting permission for use with credit. The events reflect rising tensions over immigration and crime in parts of the UK and Ireland.
