Herd of Deer Crosses Dark Highway in Headlights as Colorado Warns Drivers After Clock Change
Colorado, United States – A herd of deer walked across a dark highway in the beam of a vehicle's headlights, in a video released by Colorado Parks and Wildlife to warn drivers about wildlife after the clocks went back.
The footage shows several pale deer stepping one after another across the empty road at night, their eyes shining in the lights, before the last of them disappears into the darkness.
"Nov. 1 is the end of Daylight Savings Time, meaning sunsets are earlier & days are shorter," the agency wrote. "Slow down when driving @ dusk/dawn & be on alert for wildlife near the sides of the road."
