Police Officer Chases Skunk to Free Its Head From Fast-Food Cup – 'I'm at the Wrong End'

Parker, United States – A police officer followed a skunk through the dark to pull a fast-food cup off its head, admitting on camera: "I'm at the wrong end of this."

Body camera footage released by the Parker Police Department shows the officer tracking the small black-and-white animal across grass and a road by torchlight, with the plastic cup stuck over its head. She finally gets close enough to grab the cup and pull it off, and the skunk scurries away.

"Our officer had an unusual call for service: a skunk with a Culver's cup stuck on its head," the department wrote, adding that the story "had a happy ending."

The department reminded residents that litter can trap animals and stop them from eating and drinking.
