Firefighter Reaches Deep Into Hole to Rescue Trapped Puppy in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs, United States – A firefighter used his height and long arms to rescue a puppy that had fallen into a deep hole and could not climb out.

Drone footage released by the Colorado Springs Fire Department shows firefighters lying on the grassy ground around the opening, one reaching deep inside, before the crew stands up after the rescue.

"This little pup got itself into a bit of a hole today, literally," the department wrote. Engine 10 responded to the call, and Firefighter Alberson reached down far enough for the pup to jump into his arms.
