Drums and Palestinian Flags Greet Lorries at Tilbury Port as Protesters Urge Dockers to Stop ‘Shipping Genocide’

Protesters beating drums and waving Palestinian flags gathered at the entrance to the Port of Tilbury in Essex on Friday, October 30, calling on dockworkers to join an international day of action against war.

X user Darren Cogavin filmed the misty early morning protest, as demonstrators drummed and waved flags beside the port gates while lorries and cars passed and workers in high-visibility vests looked on.

A second clip shows a group holding a large red banner reading “Stop shipping genocide” beside the road as container lorries drive past.

“Noisy protest at Tilbury Port calling on dockworkers to support the international day of action against war and genocide,” the filmer wrote.
