Warning: This video contains a real-life rescue that some viewers may find difficult to watch.

One deputy, alongside several courageous civilian bystanders, rushed toward the burning vehicle to rescue the driver.

Their quick thinking, selfless actions, and willingness to put themselves in harm’s way made all the difference.

The footage captures the deputy and civilians pulling the trapped driver to safety as flames engulfed the vehicle.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said the rescue serves as a reminder that while many people enjoy holidays with family and friends, there are men and women standing watch, ready to answer the call when someone needs help most.

The Sheriff’s Office also extended gratitude to the deputies who continue to answer the call, the civilians who stepped forward to help a stranger in need, and partner agencies including the Michigan State Police, Leroy Fire Department, Tustin Fire Department, Osceola County EMS, Meceola Central Dispatch, and Aero Med for their professionalism, teamwork, and dedication.

The coordinated response ensured the victim received prompt medical care.
