Tucson, United States – A torrent of brown floodwater roared over Sabino Dam in Arizona's Sabino Canyon, where the water rose by an estimated 4 to 6 feet in just 15 minutes.

Footage released by the US Forest Service's Coronado National Forest shows the muddy torrent churning through the canyon and pouring over Sabino Dam on Sunday, November 1.

"Be advised, a large amount of the floodwater is hitting Sabino Canyon now! In the last 15 minutes, the water has risen to an estimated 4 to 6 feet. Do not attempt to cross!" the forest wrote.

Forest Service law enforcement officers helped visitors left stranded by the floodwater, the forest said, warning people not to cross washes or canyons during or immediately after rain.
