Thunderbirds F-16 Pilot Banks Hard Over Huntington Beach In Thrilling POV
A U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds pilot banks hard over the California coast in a thrilling cockpit POV during a practice flight for the Pacific Airshow.
Filmed from the rear cockpit of the F-16 on October 1, the footage captures the aircraft rolling from over a residential area and canal toward the beach and pier before sweeping out over the green water.
The pilot’s red, white and blue helmet, flight suit and U.S. flag patch are visible, along with the side-stick and head-up display directly in front of him.
A yellow single-engine aircraft trailing smoke passes off the jet’s wing as the Thunderbirds pilot continues the flight along the coast.
The 2026 Pacific Airshow was held on the Huntington Beach shoreline from October 2 through October 4, with the Thunderbirds among the featured performers.
