Sheriff's Detectives Swap Badges for Ghosts, Chainsaws and Boomboxes in Halloween Costume Showdown

Tampa, United States – Detectives with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office in Florida swapped their suits for ghost sheets, a chainsaw-man mask and an 1980s boombox look in a Halloween costume parade.

Footage released by the sheriff's office shows members of its Criminal Investigations Division strutting one by one into a meeting room in front of a screen showing an hourglass, including two ghosts, a man in a bright retro tracksuit with an afro wig and boombox, and a man in a shirt and tie wearing a chainsaw-style mask.

"#teamHCSO's Criminal Investigations Division has cracked the case of the best Halloween costumes. The evidence speaks for itself. Happy Halloween!" the office wrote.
