Italian Firefighters Dig Dog Out of Rubble After Farmhouse Collapse
Pigna Flores, Italy – Italian firefighters dug a dog out of the rubble after a farmhouse collapsed at dawn in Pigna Flores, near Brindisi.
Footage released by the Vigili del Fuoco on Wednesday, November 4, shows crews in high-visibility gear clearing debris by hand in a narrow gap beside concrete and a blue tarp, before a small light-brown dog, Ghigo, crawls out and is pulled to safety.
He was the only one left under the wreckage, the fire service said. Guided by his barking, firefighters found him after hours of searching.
