Inside An F-35A Cockpit As Fighter Jet Roars Through Skies Over England

U.S. Air Force pilots assigned to the 493rd Fighter Squadron flew F-35A Lightning II aircraft during Combat Archer-UK 26 over England on July 20, 2026.

The video captures the flight from inside the cockpit, showing the pilot throughout the mission and the view surrounding the aircraft as it flies over England.

RAF Lakenheath hosted the air-to-air weapons system evaluation exercise, which is traditionally held at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida.

The exercise strengthened combat readiness, enhanced allied interoperability, and reinforced the U.S. Air Force’s ability to project combat power from the European theater.
