IDF: Militant Used Child To Move Weapons Into Civilian Home In Central Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces released footage it says shows a militant using a child to move weapons into a civilian home in central Gaza.

The video, posted by X user Israel Defense Forces, shows two figures walking along a sunlit street before approaching a walled residential property. The footage was released Sunday.

According to the IDF, the militant used the child to transfer weapons into the home in an effort to prevent Israeli forces from striking the transfer. The IDF said troops refrained from carrying out a strike after identifying the presence of a child.

The footage includes on-screen text describing the scene as a child transferring weapons into a civilian home in central Gaza. Several people can be seen near a gate toward the end of the video.

The IDF said the weapons were intended for attacks on Israeli troops near the Yellow Line and on Israeli civilians. It described the alleged use of the child as part of what it called the systematic exploitation of children.

The identities and intentions of the people shown, as well as what they were carrying, were not independently verified.
