Heavy Rain Forces Alligators Onto Residential Porches In Fulshear

Heavy rainfall in the area has led to alligators moving through residential spaces, according to local police.

A small alligator was seen leaving its usual swamp environment and appearing on a residential porch earlier in the day, as weather conditions continued to bring significant rain to the region.

Authorities reminded residents that if an unexpected animal such as this appears near homes, it should not be approached. People are advised to keep distance and allow trained officials to respond.

Officials also noted that the increase in rainfall appears to be influencing wildlife movement, with animals seeking higher ground.

In a light remark, police indicated that the small alligator is not a paying property taxpayer.
