Grumpy Owl Claims Arizona Front Porch as Its Bedroom

An owl has made itself at home on an Arizona woman’s front porch, napping in the rafters during the day for the past couple of weeks.

X user Jennifer filmed the bird tucked into a gap in the wooden porch beams on October 19, where it turned its head to give the camera a slow, unimpressed stare. “When I walk outside, he turns and gives me this funny look like ‘Hello? Can I help you? I am trying to sleep, here,'” she wrote, adding that she was completely in love with her new neighbor.

The clip shows the porch framed by green shrubs and the desert foothills, with the owl barely visible in the shadows until the camera zooms in on its feathered face peering out from its hiding spot.
