Florida Deputy Captures Alligator In First Gator Call Near Home
A Pinellas County deputy responded to a residential alligator call and successfully captured and relocated a nuisance alligator from a yard during his first such incident.
Bodycam footage shows the alligator near a house and fence as the deputy carefully works to control the animal. Using a blue leash and tape, the deputy restrains the alligator with help from bystanders before moving it toward safer water.
The deputy, who is originally from the Northeast, handled the call with patience and assistance from nearby citizens during the relocation.
