F-35 And Super Hornets Blast Off US Aircraft Carrier In Middle East

F-35 and F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jets blast off the deck of the USS George Washington during flight operations in the Middle East.

The footage shows an F/A-18 taxiing across the carrier deck before launching from the catapult over the gray water. Deck crews in yellow, green, red and white jerseys signal and clear the launch area.

An F-35 then taxis into position and launches from the carrier, followed by another F/A-18 Super Hornet.

The carrier’s island, parked jets and helicopters are visible across the deck as flight operations continue aboard the USS George Washington.

The carrier was underway in the Arabian Sea on September 28, 2026, conducting routine flight operations.
