Drone Shows Swollen Los Pinos River Flooding Fields and Woods Around Ignacio

Ignacio, United States – The swollen Los Pinos River spilled across fields, woodland and roads around Ignacio in southwest Colorado on November 2.

Drone footage released by the Los Pinos Fire District shows the brown river spreading far beyond its channel, flooding stands of trees and farmland and running beneath a bridge, with houses visible nearby.

Heavy rain caused historic flooding across southwest Colorado over the weekend, with rivers across the region reaching record levels and many roads and bridges damaged.
