Port St. Lucie, United States – Drone footage showed homes in Port St. Lucie, Florida, still surrounded by floodwater a day after the storm hit.

The Port St. Lucie Police Department filmed the aerial views on Tuesday, November 3, near Torino Parkway, NW California Boulevard and NW Peacock Boulevard, and over the Riverland community near SW Pink Playa Parkway.

The footage shows rows of houses with water lapping around them, flooded roads and swollen canals spreading into yards.

"Even a day after the storm reached its peak, the effects are still very much present in parts of Port St. Lucie," the department wrote.

"These conditions can be extremely dangerous, and we strongly encourage everyone to stay off flooded roadways."
