Deputies Wrestle Powerful Escaped Goat In Wild Struggle To Get It Back In Pen

Deputies wrestled with a powerful escaped goat after the horned animal attempted to ram residents in a neighborhood on August 28, 2026.

The goat, with horns about one foot long, had escaped from its enclosure. Residents stayed inside until deputies arrived to deal with the animal.

Deputies grabbed the goat by its horns and struggled to pull it across the lawn toward its pen.

“This thing is really strong,” deputies said during the effort. One deputy was heard saying, “I got the goat by the horns,” as they worked to control the animal.

After the struggle, the deputies returned the goat to its enclosure.

No injuries were reported.
