Smuggling Boat Carrying 22 Illegal Migrants Intercepted Near Florida
Air and Marine Operations (AMO) and the U.S. Coast Guard interdicted a 27-foot suspected smuggling vessel near Angelfish Creek on September 15, 2026.
An AMO aircraft detected the vessel during an Operation Vigilant Sentry patrol, leading to the interdiction.
One suspected smuggler and 22 illegal aliens of various nationalities were apprehended during the operation.
