Police Officer Takes Fun Ride Down Carnival Slide During CabotFest
A police officer took a break from the usual sights and sounds of police work to enjoy a ride down the Fun Slide during CabotFest in downtown Cabot.
The Cabot Police Department shared the lighthearted clip as the city celebrated its 48th annual festival, held October 8–10, 2026.
The carnival opened at 6 p.m. Thursday and Friday, with rides running into the evening. Saturday’s festivities include a 5K, vendors, live music and the festival’s unusual cricket-spitting contest, with country artist Matt Stell scheduled to headline.
The department’s post also reminded visitors that the carnival and Fun Slide were open during the celebration.
