Little Boy Who Lost Mom And Brother Gets A Day To Remember With Local Police
A young boy named Liam got a special day to remember when his father stopped at the Live Oak Police Department during a visit from Louisiana.
The department said Liam had lost his mother and a brother in the last couple of years, and his father wanted the trip to help them make new memories.
Footage posted by the department shows a sergeant kneeling on the sidewalk and talking with Liam outside the station. The boy holds something in both hands while his father stands behind him.
Liam was shown the police cars and given a department challenge coin and a pair of department glasses during the August 8 visit.
The department did not identify the officers involved or say how long the visit lasted. Chief Keith Davis leads the Live Oak Police Department.
