Drug Dealer Loses Trousers During Struggle With Police
This is the moment a 27-year-old drug dealer loses his trousers while struggling with a police officer before running away barefoot during his arrest.
Footage released by police shows Petrit Kolendreu wrestling with an officer before his trousers slip down. He then breaks away and runs from the scene.
Kolendreu was arrested after officers raided a flat on Whitsed Street, Eastfield, where police found crack cocaine and phones linked to drug dealing.
He had climbed from a ground-floor window and fled during the raid before being pursued and arrested nearby. He dropped a package of cocaine worth up to £1,280 believed to be intended for sale as crack cocaine.
Officers also found a small package of crack cocaine on a nearby roof, which Kolendreu had discarded.
His cousin, 29-year-old Xhovani Gjonaj, was arrested during a simultaneous warrant at the same block of flats.
Police said the cousins had taken over the home of a vulnerable man to run a crack cocaine operation, a practice known as “cuckooing.”
Both men admitted possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.
At Cambridge Crown Court on September 17, Gjonaj was jailed for 52 months and Kolendreu for 47 months.
