Austin Firefighters Pull Woman From Shoal Creek After She Is Swept Into Water
Austin, United States – Austin firefighters pulled a woman to safety after she was swept into Shoal Creek near West Avenue.
Footage released by the Austin Firefighters Association shows crews working at night with a ladder truck and rope system among trees and emergency lights on Tuesday, November 3, before she is moved to an ambulance.
Firefighters found her clinging to a tree, tangled in branches in the moving water, and lowered a rescuer to bring her back to solid ground, the association said. She was taken to hospital with minor injuries and later released.
