Millions Of Fans Flood Madrid Streets To Celebrate Spain’s World Cup Champions

Spain’s national football team returned home as World Cup champions and received a massive welcome from supporters during an open-top bus parade through the capital.

National Police officers on foot, in armored vans with flashing blue lights, and on horseback escort the convoy through streets packed with cheering fans.

Hundreds of thousands of supporters lined the route toward Plaza de Cibeles to celebrate Spain’s second World Cup title after their extra-time victory over Argentina.
