Massive Red Wave Sweeps Toronto As Canadian Fans March To Historic World Cup Match

Video filmed by X user The Voyageurs shows thousands of Canadian soccer supporters dressed in red marching through downtown Toronto under a clear blue sky.

A large banner reading “VOYAGEURS” and “ALLEZ LES ROUGES!” leads the crowd as fans wave Canadian flags, chant, and cheer while moving through the city streets.

Thick red smoke rises from flares or smoke devices within the procession, creating a dense haze that surrounds the marching supporters. Tall glass-and-steel buildings line both sides of the wide avenue as the crowd advances through the downtown area.

A smartphone is seen in the foreground capturing the scene as the supporters continue their march in formation.

The footage captures the “March to the Match” led by The Voyageurs, Canada’s official soccer supporters group, on June 12, 2026, ahead of Canada’s opening FIFA World Cup match on home soil against Bosnia and Herzegovina at Toronto Stadium.

Fans gathered in large numbers to build atmosphere ahead of Canada’s first-ever World Cup game hosted in the country, filling the streets with chants, flags, and red smoke as they moved toward the stadium.

The event marked a major moment for Canadian soccer during the 2026 tournament co-hosted by Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
