Knicks Fans Flood Penn Station As Nighttime Street Celebration Overwhelms Midtown Manhattan

Video filmed by an unnamed Knicks fan captures a large and chaotic street celebration outside Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan on the night of May 25, 2026.

Hundreds of supporters filled the sidewalks and spilled into the street, creating a dense crowd under bright city lights as they jumped, cheered, chanted, and waved their phones.

The celebration followed the team’s playoff sweep and continued progression through the 2026 NBA Playoffs, with fans expressing intense excitement over the run.

According to the footage, police were asking people to disperse while the gathering continued at full intensity.

The scene formed part of a wider night of celebrations across New York City, including a separate block gathering in Fort Greene and another large crowd event earlier in the week.

Fans described the atmosphere as having “1999 vibes” as celebrations spread across multiple locations during the team’s playoff run.
